Hello, I'm a 73 year-old trainee and do deficit DL's off a 3" high platform for higher reps, 5-8. I've been using them for years, and started at 2" for about a year, then tried 3" and 4.5", but settled onto 3", and honestly don't feel any different from the 2" high platform. I was 6'4" tall most of my life, but now only 6' 2 1/2" tall. I also had the wingspan(reach) of someone who is 6-6 to 6-7", and wanted to get my quads more involved in the start of the lift. Since I was no longer able to back squat(shoulder and rib probs. post surgery), and decided Def Dead's fit into my minimalist training routines.

one problem is if you start comparing meal replacement to a healthy diet. Like no, imo the people going for a quick replacement are the fast food people, not the let's prepare food and cook for 1 hour. I don't think people understand how convenient it is to even just have one meal a day that is prepared in under a minute.

I will evaluate the ones I have tasted: Chocolate Peanut butter: 6/10 normal taste but boring Double Rich Chocolate: 6/10 normal taste but boring Extreme milk chocolate: 7.5/10 better than double rich one Caramel Toffee Fudge: 5/10 I got bored too fast not as impresive as others Vanilla ice cream: 7.5/10 tastes good but its too intense you can get bored easy its even getting hard to swallow because of sweetness and intensity Overall non of them is disgusting all are drinkable with milk/water I have tried it for all of them. now I have bought white chocolate raspberry i will add it when I try it

That way the hips are stacked is a game changer. I did 6 sets of 4 reps of stationery split squats with hips stacked like this and my legs were just fried, glutes. Challenges the cardio in a big way.

Why spend a lot of time working on a squat movement we never use? Deadlift is the king of lifts and much more functional carry over. Never ever do we squat do make hard work.
